Product Manager South America
FairConnection is an international fresh produce importer with a strong focus on fruit from the Southern Hemisphere. From our office in Ridderkerk, we work closely with growers and supply retailers and wholesalers across Europe with high-quality fruit.
We are looking for a Product Manager South America to strengthen our commercial
team.
Product Manager South America
Location: Ridderkerk | Fulltime
What you will do
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with growers based on quality,
sustainability and reliability. This will require regular visits to growers in South
America. - Develop programs with growers based on an understanding of customer needs.
- Negotiate purchasing terms
- Manage shortages or surpluses to maintain balance in the supply chain
- Work closely with our sourcing team and sales team
- Identify new varieties, trends, and market opportunities.
What you bring
- 5+ years experience in procurement, import, or product management (fresh produce
preferred). - Strong commercial drive and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Fluent in English; Spanish skills required.
- Hands-on, analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- Resilient under pressure, able to maintain oversight during busy periods.
