Nieuwe producten en innovaties dragen aanzienlijk bij aan het succes van de sector van verse en vers gesneden producten. Leidende bedrijven, die bijgedragen hebben aan de economische groei van de sector door ontwikkeling, het maken en marketen van nieuwe en innovatieve producten, zullen worden erkend.
De producten zullen getoond worden op de United Fresh 2012, waar ze beoordeeld zullen worden door deelnemers van United Fresh, AMI en FMI. Producten met de meeste stemmen op woensdag 2 mei zullen de volgende dag om 10.00 uur bekend gemaakt worden.
