Sales Manager Netherlands (m/f/x)

You will be responsible for building and implementing the sales strategy of YOGI TEA in Netherlands. You will actively develop and grow the business in all channels: organic retail and wholesale, mass market retail, cash and carry, drugstore / pharmacy and foodservice. The job is a mix of front office work (customers management, customers meeting) and back-office works (working with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Operations, Finance). In your new role you will report to the Head of Sales Southern & Western Europe and work with a Sales Team Assistant based in Hamburg, Germany and you will have no leadership responsibility for a team.

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for turnover and profitability targets by proactively using the sales mix e.g. listing of products, implement listing on market, channel, customer and outlet level in distribution, improve availability and shelf visibility, ensure sales through promotional activities, negotiating prices and price increases, trade terms and services with our customers
  • Implementation of all relevant consumer and trade marketing activities in the markets / with the customers
  • Work actively with customer sales reports, listing overviews, profitability report, customer database, sales budget, promotional plan as well as market share data
  • Responsible for Netherlands specific sales budgets in relation to turnover; co-responsible for Netherlands specific Trade Marketing budgets
  • Represent the company at fairs and events, especially distributor / trade fairs trade fairs (also on weekends if necessary)
  • Development and implementation of a growth strategy for Netherlands to contribute to overall YOGI TEA growth strategy and alignment with top management
  • Ensure distribution build up for new products and enlarge distribution of existing assortment

What we expect:

  • An engaged team-player with high level of flexibility and self-reliance who is able to adapt to a rapidly evolving environment across functional and geographic borders in a quick and efficient way
  • Fluency in Dutch and business English, written and spoken
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a KAM / Sales Manager and ideally Consumer and Trade Marketing in the Dutch mass market retail, organic retail, or wholesale trade
  • Highly developed communication skills, empathetic personality, and excellent project management skills
  • A good network within Netherlands FMCG trade and its decision makers would be a plus
  • IT-skilled in all standard MS Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Driver’s license
